Trekking Bernese Oberland , Switzerland, is designed for experienced hikers or persons who can traverse long distances through rugged mountains. To go Trekking Bernese Oberland, travelers must be physically fit. Hiking intervals can reach up to 7 hours during daylight. Your local naturalist guide will take you on some of the most extraordinary routes off-the-beaten-path. The areas less traveled by hikers depict fresh and interested perspective for Trekking Bernese Oberland.

A breathtakingly scenic locale with high mountains, wild flora, and lakes, Bernese Oberland is an all-year-round destination. Its picturesque landscape is dominated by snow-capped peaks, colossal glaciers, dense pine forests, 800+ glistering lakes, and timeless rolling hills with melodramatic gorges and waterfalls. Hiking trails meander through leas and reaches high into the crests with views of some of Europe’s most prominent alp sceneries including the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau.

Lake Thun, sited at the northern rim of the Alps in the core of the Bernese Oberland is encircled by massifs, rustic villages, and the pleasant cities of Thun and Interlaken.

With Trekking Bernese Oberland, you will be rewarded with 100% pure nature in Switzerland. Switzerland has always attracted travelers who visit the country to hike its alpine mountains and trails. Cross-country hiking is provided for by a number of wilderness resorts, mountain cabins, and eco lodges that are scattered across the mountain countryside, which cater to adventurers. Trekking Bernese Oberland works closely with these resort operators for accommodating travelers on the tour. The concept of moving on from one inn to another inn is to prevent travelers from having to tug heavy tent through the highlands.

Oberland is noted for retaining the rural traditions of Switzerland. Snow-covered peaks serve as backdrops over green meadows being graved by cows. Bucolic culture strives here and is knotted in with the region’s ecotourism.
