South Africa Nature Tour will take you on an exhilarating adventure through Kruger National Park for observing “big five”, nature preserves for seeing African wildlife and plant life, vineyards for wine tasting, and penetrating isolated villages to meet the people who have lived the same way for centuries.

South Africa Nature Tour explores the areas important to nature and conservation in the country. You’ll traverse routes that offer views of the Blyde Canyon and beyond.  South Africa Nature Tour let you sightsee the Garden Route. You’ll cruise the Knysna Lagoon. Described as an estuary, the lagoon boasts 5 fresh water rivers.  And during the South Africa Nature Tour, you will indulge in the traditional cultures in Zwaziland and Zululand. Mainly contained within the province of KwaZulu-Natal, the Zulu Kingdom offers a rich sub-Saharan Africa’s wildlife population, history, and tradition.

Coined by big game hunters (not conservationists/safari tour operators), Big 5 comprises the lion, the leopard, white and black rhinos, the elephant, and the cape buffalo, due to the difficulties involve when hunting the animals on foot. A number of these animals are now on the verge of going extinct. Thankfully, efforts have (and are) been made to preserve them. These days the term “Big 5” is mainly used to describe the group of animals among those to be viewed in the nature parks as opposed to being hunted for sports. Some other African wildlife to see on safaris includes the giraffe, the hippo, the cheetah, the kudu, the wildebeest, and the zebra.

Kruger National Park has 2 million hectares of land area; it is dedicated to the conservation of the local wildlife. Living in this space are approximately 147 species of mammal; 500 plus types of birds; 114 varieties of reptile; 49 kinds of fish; 34 categories of amphibian; 227 classes of butterflies; and 336 sorts of trees.
