Polar Bear Tour Manitoba offers travelers a unique opportunity to observe and photograph Polar bears in Churchill, the place dubbed the “Polar Bear Capital of the World“. Polar Bear Tour Manitoba is designed to cause the least negative impact on the tundra.

Our tour guides are naturalists and study the activities of the wild species and with the Polar Bear Tour Manitoba, we track the animals in their natural habitat during the excursion. Protecting and conserving this important biota is decisive to its long-term sustainability. Sited along the coastline of Manitoba on Hudson Bay, Churchill lies at a point where three important ecosystems connect. These are the ocean, the tundra, and the boreal forest. In addition to Polar bear sightings, Churchill is noted for its high Beluga whale population. During the season of spring, bird watchers arrive in drove to observe over 250+ species of the oiseaux (french:  bird) that nest here as well as navigate the area during their annual migration.

Photographing the landscape of Manitoba can be extremely rewarding, as well. The scenery of and surrounding Churchill from the boreal forest at its northern tip to the sprawling Arctic tundra has over 400 native plants and tree species. Summer here is short but during this time the colors of wildflower dominates the topography. During winter, Manitoba depicts a winter wonderland, which is bound to give you an authentic sub-Arctic experience in the tundra.

At L’ EcoResorts, we provide a unique opportunity for travelers to sleep in and explore the vicinity of where the Polar bears reside. In a Tundra Buggy Lodge (rolling hotel) sited on the subarctic tundra, you get close-up sightings of the Polar bears in this pristine environment. At daytime, the tour takes everyone out on expeditions to see the mammals as they wander about, interact with each other, and traverse toward the coast.

Nighttime are spent in the security, coziness, and social comfort of the Tundra Buggy Lodge. The lodge is designed to maximize travelers’ comfort and facilitate platforms for viewing and photography Polar bears and the Northern Lights in this Arctic wilderness of Canada. The Tundra Lodge includes cooking and dining, and come with Polar bear experts on-board. Travelers’ numbers are limited to maximize space and personalized care during the excursion.

Regarding the Polar Bear Tour Manitoba, we offers this tour in the fall and winter months. And birds, whales, and landscape photography tours in the spring, fall, and summer.
